Brazil to Implement 24-Hour Delay for Large Crypto Transfers

Brazil will require cryptocurrency firms to delay transfers exceeding $10,000 to self-custody wallets or foreign platforms for 24 hours after an account is funded.

This regulation, which applies to stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies, is set to take effect on January 1, 2027.
